See What’s New on the 9th Annual Homes by Architects Tour

Home09 on AIA Tour

Presented by  AIA-Minnesota-Logo

This may be the year when the American Institute of Architects-Minnesota Annual Homes by Architects Tour showcases the widest range in residential square footage in its nine-year history. The smallest home you’ll see is Christopher Strom Architect’s 380-square-foot guesthouse, or accessory dwelling unit, in South Minneapolis (Home #9). On the other extreme is Home #1, a breathtaking, modern take on East Coast shingle style perched coyly on a peninsula facing Wayzata Bay on Lake Minnetonka.

Both projects are not-to-be-missed and together represent the spirit of this year’s event, where tour goers will see more variation than ever in terms of style, project scope, size, and surrounding environment with no lack of quality in design and detail. With 17 new and remodeled homes to experience, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes.
