Already dreaming of warmer weather? Us too, and that’s why Pitched is top of mind.

Founders Kenny and Autumn Young had one goal in mind when launching their Twin Cities-based glamping company: They wanted to share their love of sleeping under the stars with other families. This is no ordinary sleeping bag night on the ground though, it’s a glamorous camping experience for city folk who don’t often wander into the woods. The experience includes a storybook-like tent with rug, pillows, seating, and memory foam mattresses—all set up right outside your back door.

Launched in March 2020, Pitched thrived when the stay-at-home order had families doing just that and looking for adventures in their own homes. The company’s rapid growth led to Tiny Tents, a sleepover experience your wee ones will talk about for years. Further, Kenny and Autumn plan to grow the company in the near future, expanding to cities across the Midwest.

Kenny is a lifelong entrepreneur who says “this is the one idea and business that stuck.” When he shares stories of glampers and his hand in making memories, he exudes pure joy. Life is about the big dream and wishing on a star… sometimes you just have to sleep under them to make it come true.

Due to our wintry weather, Pitched will be re-opening for business Spring 2022.
