Alcohol ink artist Natalia James creates wall art and home goods that remind us of the beauty and chaos within abstract, detailed works

Natalia James reconnected with her creative side when art and the process of making was exactly what she needed. Motivated by a diagnosis of depression and anxiety, the self-taught artist and designer was driven to create original alcohol ink works for both solace and treatment. James believes her work (which includes wall art and home goods) reminds us there is beauty in the chaos and detail in the abstract.

Like life itself, alcohol inks cannot be controlled—only influenced. Each piece is illuminated with gilded outlines that glimmer in the dark, pairing perfectly with both conceptual art and minimalist décor.
