The Collective: Alora Ambiance

St. Paul company Alora Ambiance is thriving with its reed diffusers and candles that introduce the senses to home décor and furnishings

While living far from their family farm in southern Minnesota, two entrepreneurial sisters—Ann and Therese Gibbons—launched home fragrance business Alora Ambiance while residing in Lake Como, Italy. Now in its 21st year and headed by Therese, the St. Paul company is thriving with its reed diffusers that introduce the senses to home décor and furnishings. Simple in design, Alora’s diffusers offer a consistent, long-lasting scent and are safer than incense or a candle (although the company sells those, too). With a diverse clientele that ranges from celebrities to prestigious retailers, Alora Ambiance has mastered the fine art of blending fragrances to transform spaces and transport customers to exotic shores, hidden forests, and open fields.

Diffusers start at $64, while candles start at $60. Follow Alora Ambiance on Instagram and Facebook.
