In preparation for the holiday season, many people are embarking on home improvement projects. For those looking to get started, the Shakopee Home Show is back for the second time this year. With a full-day agenda, participants are welcomed to meet 120 of the Twin Cities’ best home professionals, learn useful tips and tricks, and enter to win various prizes and giveaways.
The show features professionals for landscaping, roofing, remodeling, and more, providing ample accessibility to home services providers from around the area. Some of the businesses you can expect to see include The Home Depot, Apple Exteriors, Renewal by Andersen, and much more. Along with these exhibitioners, the show hosts educational seminars throughout the event for attendees to experience.
Every hour, a new seminar is set to take place. Starting at 11 a.m., a rundown of homeowner insurance by American Family Insurance will cover the basics of protecting your home investments. Following at 12 p.m. is a lesson on home remodeling presented by Cottage Builders. Next is a talk about hydronics, covering installation, heater selection, and thermostat design for in-floor heating. The rest of the afternoon is occupied with a seminar on maximizing home value, continued with beginner tips on interior painting.
This fall’s show is happening on Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Canterbury Park. The event is open to the public with free parking; no ticket needed. The first 100 attendees will receive a gift bag with items donated by participating home professionals.
