Minneapolis Craft Market hosts its fair share of in-person events each holiday season—sometimes up to 15 markets in one weekend. Given this winter’s inevitable restrictions, founder Hayley Matthews-Jones moved the market to a newly designed digital platform where you can peruse beautiful pieces, grab gifts to send to loved ones, and support small businesses—all from the comfort and convenience of your couch. Highlighting more than 200 local artisans and 3,000 products (including a lovely coffee gift box that includes
St. Paul-based SK Coffee’s signature roast and two handcrafted ceramic mugs by Samantha Longley Clay), the online shop is the perfect place to show love to local talent. “You can shop from five to 50 makers in one transaction, and it’s all there in one checkout,” says Matthews-Jones, cognizant of the strain the pandemic has put on her vendors. “It’s essential to support artists right now. Otherwise, they are going to go away.”

In addition to the coffee gift box, Matthews-Jones also suggests stickers and face masks—like these ones by Artifacts of Joy, My Bit of Wonder, and Guys & Ties.
