FLOW Northside Arts Crawl

FLOW Northside Arts Crawl throws an unexpected twist to your typical art event. This three-day celebration is a giant self-guided tour of art studios, theaters, and galleries that span more than a mile along North Minneapolis streets. The crawl goes above and beyond and includes a farmers market, concerts, beer tasting, pop-ups, and a series of outdoor exhibitions and events. Nearly 300 artists and 35 different sites will offer indoor and outdoor activities that range from dance, drawing, and dropping beats all the way to fine art from amateur and professional artists alike. Tangletown Gardens’ Garden Art Music 2018

The connection of nature, design, art, and music is special—so special, that according to urban Twin Cities garden center Tangletown Gardens, it’s a relationship worth a full-blown celebration. Attend the Garden and Art Tour to enjoy local art and unique gardens in the area, or sit back and appreciate local artists like Chris Koza, Billy Johnson, and Romantica at the music festival. Loring Park Art Festival

More than 25,000 art-lovers, families, and festival-goers will attend the Loring Park Art Festival this season in downtown Minneapolis. With more than 140 artists and 10 live performances for you to enjoy, the kids will be taken care of, too. Keep them busy with a craft booth and two food court locations with loads of culinary options to keep their tummies happy (and yours, too!) Minnesota Pottery Festival

The Minnesota Pottery Festival features more than 30 ceramic artists with the mission to educate and engage with the public. From Minnesota and Wisconsin, to Georgia and Texas, artists from all cultures and geographics will come together to broaden the depth of understanding and appreciation of ceramic art. Stick around for the Pottery Olympics, a friendly competition with three creative (and challenging) events, is a fun and exciting demonstration of basic pottery throwing and skills. In case you missed it, Shinola opened their 26th location on July 19 at Galleria, a Twin Cities luxury shopping destination in Edina. The Detroit-based design company makes high-quality watches, bikes, leather goods, jewelry, journals, and more. Stop in and build-a-watch at their custom Shinola watch bar or head to their free monogram station to emboss initials on your most recent purchases.
