Minnesota Makers: Deep Cut

A great idea and business often starts in the family. Take two brothers, Rich and Clark, and their wood-working cousin, Rob, and you have the men behind Deep Cut.

These three northern Minnesota men believe you should “listen to music the hard way,” meaning only one thing: on vinyl. When their own vinyl collection outgrew a regular bookshelf, the brothers turned to Rob and asked if he could make a better one. The result? The wall cube and flip shelf you see here.

The trio’s mission is simple: to make beautiful, useful, quality pieces that help people find more joy in their home and, of course, that vinyl collection.
