Online, Shaynah Dodge is known as Ruffled Snob, a mom of three impeccably and inventively dressed kids, and followed by more than 50,000 style acolytes. In real life, her style extends well beyond those small, square, pixelated frames.

A quiet corner of the living room, punctuated with a Blu Dot chair, Target side table, and some of Dodge’s art on the wall.

Her Plymouth home is a sun-dappled fresh coat of white paint—she even used it to cover the aging linoleum on her kitchen floor as a stopgap before a future kitchen redo—punctuated by fashion-themed coffee-table books, fresh blooms from her backyard (plus, she confesses, a few selected from her mom’s garden, just two doors down), and photography and paintings done by her own hand.

“When we moved in, doing my own photography and art was a temporary fix while we bought furniture for the new house,” she says, adding she learned the forms as she went. “But then it became ingrained.”

Bella Notte linen bedding “looks pretty even when it’s messy,” she says—especially flanked with Muuto light fixtures.

When the Dodges moved into their home, they dumped the vast majority of the Shabby Chic furnishings that decorated their former home to find pieces that suited the new house better. She says the place had a cabin aesthetic—until she took over.

“I think of the style of this interior now as earthy modern with a slightly feminine twist,” she says, attributing some of the more classic and masculine elements to her husband’s influence. But upon further reflection, she adds, “My grandpa came from Sweden, so I come by the white, minimal, boho modern style naturally, too.”

These styles come together in the home’s showpiece, the sunroom. Airy, bright, and inviting, “the sunroom was the reason we bought this house,” Dodge says. She immediately went to work finding pieces that would bring the outside in, providing a durable but beautiful sanctuary and play space. A low-profile, deep-set leather sofa from Restoration Hardware was her husband’s pick. Hers? A boho, one-off settee from Anthropologie. It’s a wild choice in the tastefully neutral home, but one that plays perfectly off the rest of the pieces. “I got scared once we bought it. But I just had to have it,” she laughs.

But, a little adjustment here, a perfectly placed throw blanket there, et voila: Picture perfect.
