For a family of five, plus two dogs, space was a necessity to accommodate these homeowners’ active lifestyle. With more traditional style preferences, they wanted a space that felt warm, cozy, and homey. By combining rich wood-toned flooring with a combination of stained cherry cabinetry in the kitchen, they were able to achieve that feel while adding family-friendly functionality. Expanses of quartz countertops and glass tile add an additional sparkle to the room and provide the family with ample space to spread out and enjoy meals together. In the new mudroom, organizational cutouts and cabinets make for useful storage space—a much-needed area for three growing kids and a year-round hockey season. The lower and main level remodel allows for a transformation in how the family lives, with a multitude of picturesque places to gather.
