After: The design+build team relocated a doorway that cut off the kitchen from the living room and dining room, and updated all of the rooms with a modern color palette, using taupe as a base color. The kitchen was fitted with custom cabinets, clever storage solutions (including four spice pullouts), a spacious buffet, and a bar-height peninsula that seats four.
