ISPIRI DESIGN + BUILD
YEAR BUILT: 1974
TYPE OF REMODEL: Kitchen/main level
Before: A small kitchen with old appliances and little storage, absence of natural light, and missing amenities all added to a cramped, antiquated feeling within this 1974 home. The homeowners, a young couple with two children, wanted a space with modern flair that embodied country living and a rustic aesthetic.
After: The new design features clean Dura Supreme cabinets, floating shelves to show off beautiful décor, gourmet appliances, and a custom black accent hood. The kitchen is now bigger and brighter, thanks to walls of windows and an addition. A large island (perfect for meal prepping and providing extra seating) adds function and style. The designers also borrowed square footage from a large living room on the main level to incorporate a laundry and mud room, which has a new exterior entrance.
Must-See Features: Don’t miss the powder bath’s unique retro pedestal sink and accent wallpaper, the kitchen’s custom green island with Cambria quartz countertops, Fischer & Paykel matte white induction range, and pot filler for convenience cooking.
