The homeowners of this 2000s-era condo sought to transform the space into their forever home. They adored the Minnetonka location and the unit’s stunning views of the surrounding nature. However, the overall design needed an upgrade to better align with their personal style.
While embarking on the remodel, Bluestem Remodeling addressed each item on the homeowners’ list to ensure the existing layout could function better for their needs. For instance, a small dining room off the front entrance was converted into a full bar, mimicking the setup of their previous home. This sophisticated space is perfect for unwinding, entertaining, and mixing up delicious cocktails. After grabbing a drink at the bar, the nearby hearth room, connected to a four-season porch, offers a cozy retreat to relax by the fireplace while enjoying views of the surrounding wetlands. Other standout features include an art gallery hallway, reconfigured primary bathroom, three-sided fireplace, and unique light fixtures throughout the home.
Post remodel, the condo now boasts a Hollywood Regency design with elegant art deco touches. Details like the polished chrome finishes, mosaic tile pattern of the bar, and striking marble flooring perfectly showcase this glamorous style.
