Minnesota Makers: Justin Hossle

What began years ago as building hay forts on the family farm has turned into creating simple, midcentury-modern inspired furniture for Justin Hossle.

By day, Justin often builds with the help of his three-year-old son, and by night, he works as an assistant stage manager at the Guthrie Theater, where he finds inspiration in the sets and the building itself.

His aesthetic has come a long way from hay forts and his first DIY coffee table from a YouTube video—his pieces today are built for modern families and generations to come.
