It’s never too late for abandoned toys or paused talents! There is a nostalgia in the work of artist Karin Jacobs that takes us back to when our superheroes were on horseback instead of wearing capes in big-budget movies. Known for her work capturing American nostalgia in oil paint, Jacobs painted in her youth and returned to the studio after raising her family. Today, she paints her toys and “play things”—reminding us to not to give up on our passions or love for our youth.
