The time is nearly here for this year’s St. Louis Park Art Fair. Since 1995, the St. Louis Park Art Fair program has supported and promoted local artists in effort to enhance the Minnesota art scene. The fair hosts over 70 local artists in their craft, making this the perfect place to add to your art collection. In addition to the creators, expect food trucks, live music, and more. With continued community support, SLP Art Fair has added even more vendors to its lineup this year—continuing to expand and grow its reputation.

Shop artists like Amanda Pearson (who creates fiber and multi-media art), Muddy Mouth Cards (specializing in eco-friendly handmade greeting cards), Mike Woodard (a photographer who captures the beauty of Minnesota), and much more—including youth artists.

For the first time, youth artists will be showcased at the Youth Artist MiniMarket, where 10 young makers will have the opportunity to sell and display their creations. Within this exhibit, the SLP Parktacular Ambassadors will be hosting a hands-on art table for individuals to embrace their creativity. Stacia Goodman, lead artist at Stacia Goodman Mosaics, is leading a mosaic activity as well, giving ample opportunity for attendees to depart with original pieces.

Free parking is available in the main St. Louis Park Recreation Center lot, with additional parking on Raleigh Avenue and in the Excelsior & Grand ramp. Sept. 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., slpfota.org/artfair
