Visitors to downtown Stillwater will notice a new addition to the north end of Main Street—Brick + Linen. Reminiscent of a smaller-scale Pottery Barn, this cozy home décor shop is filled with an eclectic selection of items curated from artisans both local and from around the country, plus it doubles as a full-service interior design firm. Its founder, Lisa Robbins, was inspired by the small-town boutiques and pocket neighborhood shops she grew up visiting, and she found herself drawn to Stillwater’s own small-town charm. “My favorite items for the home are the basics, things people use every day,” explains Robbins, who describes her design style as relaxed, yet refined. Her personal Brick + Linen favorites? The signature stonewashed linens the shop is named for, custom pillows she rotates out seasonally, and handmade pottery line by Pig’s Eye Pottery in St. Paul—all of which reflect her mission of blending fashion and function.
