Miele—the family-owned, luxury appliance manufacturer—has opened its first “Innovation Center” in the Midwest in St. Paul. Located inside of the All, Inc. appliance and cabinetry showroom, the store-within-a-store is intended to give homeowners, interior designers, and builders the opportunity to interact with the brand’s wide assortment of products, which feature German engineering and innovation and a bold, modern aesthetic. The St. Paul showroom is the 15th Miele Innovation Center in the U.S.
The stylish, modern showroom stands out within the more traditional vendors at All, Inc. LED lights—which illuminate everything from ventilation hoods to dishwashers—give the space a cool, ambient feel, and its sleek, minimalist surfaces all match, which offers a consistent look when installed throughout the home.
Monique Robinson, PR and events specialist for Miele, says the showroom is geared toward homeowners to come in with their builder or designer to see and touch the appliances in person. “You can come in and put your dishes in the dishwasher to see if they fit,” she says. “You can see the size of the laundry before you get it. You can touch and feel it before you put it in your house.”
The Miele Innovation Center includes an assortment of products from the company’s multiple home appliance categories including ranges; convection ovens; speed, steam and combi-steam ovens; warming drawers; electric, gas and induction cooktops; ventilation hoods; coffee systems; refrigerators, freezers and wine storage; dishwashers; and laundry including the new FashionMaster ironing system. Not only are they innovative, they’re made to last—all products are tested to last 20 or more years.
Founded in Germany in 1899, Miele has since grown to become the world’s largest family-owned and -operated appliance company. The brand has been on the forefront of engineering and innovation in home appliances. Last year, the brand added electromagnetic waves to its Wi-Fi oven for a faster cook time, and (supposedly) better-tasting food. Drop in to All, Inc. to view the showroom—no appointment needed.
