Handcrafted goods are becoming a popular way to make gift-giving more meaningful. This holiday season, the Twin Cities hosts dozens of pop-up markets with curated selections of modern, stylish goods by local makers. We’ve gather a few of our favorites for you:

Walker Art Center’s Jewelry and Accessory Makers Mart, Saturday, November 4, a showcase of “wearable art” feature bohemian jewelry by Robyne Robinson, hand-dyed scarves by Martha McQuade, and sculptural polymer-clay jewelry by Wazo Designs. Details at walkerart.org

MN Christmas Market, Saturday, November 11, at Lake Monster Brewing features handcrafted soy candles by Excelsior Candle Co., skincare by StormSister Spatique, and honey-infused bon-bons by Mademoiselle Miel. More at mnxmasmarket.com

Paikka’s Holiday Bazaar, Sunday, November 12, spotlights unique, minimalist wares by Minnesota makers at its stylish St. Paul event space. See paikkamn.com

Craft’za, November 18 & 19, held at the Grain Belt Bottling House, and Holiday No Coast Craft-o-Rama, December 1 & 2, at Midtown Global Exchange, each boast sprawling lineups of local indie makers. Check out craftza.com and nocoastcraft.com

American Swedish Institute’s pop-up Jul Shop, November 11–January 7, is filled with Scandinavian food, candles, ornaments, woven goods, and other giftables. See asimn.org

The nomadic Minneapolis Craft Market, November 5–December 19, curates a rotating selection of makers at pop-up sales every weekend at locations including the Linden Hills Farmers Market, Lakes & Legends Brewing, and Sociable Cider Werks. Details at mplscraftmarket.com

SooVAC, December 1–24, opens its an annual holiday shop selling original art by local artists specially priced for gift giving. Info at soovac.org

Northern Grade market, December 9 & 10, returns for its annual holiday edition with a selection of U.S.-made goods that include men and women’s clothing, accessories, skincare, and gifts. See northerngrade.com
