Internationally renowned artist Johanan Herson, whose collectors span L.A. to Berlin, will make his first Minneapolis appearance in nearly a decade with an art show at Rosenthal Interiors. His award-winning acrylic paintings will be on display as well as his textile pieces, which strike a balance between the visceral and the ethereal. He will also unveil a sculptural display for the first time in the U.S. within a gallery setting. The opening reception features remarks by the artist and a Q&A session. National Public Gardens Day:
National Public Gardens Day is held at participating gardens around the country to highlight the importance of having vibrant gardens in the community. In the Twin Cities, participants include the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska and the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park Zoo, both of which are hosting special events in honor of the day, including walking tours, art projects, Q&As, and storytime. Glassybaby Trunk Show:

Arboretum Auxiliary Spring Plant Sale:
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum hosts its 50th annual auxiliary plant sale over Mother’s Day weekend at a new, larger location this year. Mill City Farmers Market:
After a winter indoors, the Mill City Farmers Market is back outside every weekend for the season. One of the longest-running farmers markets in the Twin Cities, it features a rotating lineup of more than 60 local farmers, food makers, and artisans in a single marketplace alongside the Mississippi River. Craftstravaganza:
When it was founded back in 2005, Craftstravaganza was one of the first of its kind—a modern craft market featuring handcrafted goods by local makers.
