Twin Cities shopping and event highlights for this week.

Annual Summer Sale at Wilson & Willy’s

Stop by North Loop or shop online with the code “summer20” to get 20 percent off. While the men and women apparel collections are never lacking, make sure to check out their minimalistic and vintage-influenced home items, too. Some of our favorite picks are the black be-speckled Insula Lake Candle, sleek and contemporary Orbit Turntable, and the screenprint of St. Paul derived from an 1892 planning map. Wednesday @ Wilson & Willy’s, 211 Washington Ave. N, Minneapolis or online, wilsonandwillys.com

Parallel Maker Markets

All through July, Parallel Maker Markets are giving us cool design during some of the hottest days of the summer. Whenever you’re at the Lyndale Farmers Market, pop over to Parallel cafe for this micro market of artisans. This first week features six booths including A MANO ceramics and Karen Morris Millnery. Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. @ Parallel, 145 Holden St. N, Minneapolis, parallelmn.com

Fourth of July at the Galleria

Twenty-five Fourth of July sales will be at the Edina Galleria this week. Ampersand has a 50 percent sale off select items; Design Within Reach has its Midsummer Sale going on with up to 70 percent off furniture, lighting, and accessories; and Gabberts Design Studio has 10 percent off upholstery and an additional 20 percent off Odds & Ends (plus, of course, designers to consult with). Various times (Fourth of July hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) @ Galleria, 69th Street and France Avenue, Edina, galleriaedina.com

Little Mekong Night Market

Once a summer, blocks of St. Paul come to life with the Little Mekong Night Market. Make the nights stretch out with entertainment, street food, cultural activities, and vendors of all goods and crafts. After visiting, you will wish that the streets were always like this: a bustling community of excitement and creativity. Stop by more than 70 booths like Larissa Loden for jewelry, Lee Sand Art, and more. Saturday 5 p.m. to midnight and Sunday 4 to 11 p.m. @ Little Mekong, 422 University Ave., Suite 14, St. Paul, littlemekong.com

Designer Marketplace Red, White, & Blue Sale

All year round, Designer Marketplace sells designer furniture and home items at 50 to 70 percent off, but for the Fourth of July, there will be even more discounts with $100 off $499, $500 off $1999, and $1000 off $3999. Indoor and outdoor furniture of all styles, rugs, accessories, and more are available at the showroom where you can see and touch them as well as ask questions to ensure they will be the perfect fit for your home. Wednesday through Sunday @ Designer Marketplace, 160 Glenwood Ave., Minneapolis, designermarketplacemn.com

Maker Days at Linden Hills Farmers Market

If Maker Days didn’t stop going for the rain shower we had last week, it’s not going to be postponed because a holiday was four days before. (If nothing else, it just gives a greater reason to go to the neighboring farmers market: fresh food for the grill and table.) Check the Facebook event if you want a sneak peek of the artists or surprise yourself when you get there. Sunday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. @ Settergren of Linden Hills, 2813 43rd St. W, Minneapolis, facebook.com
