American Pottery Festival
This 25th annual fundraiser event gathers ceramic artists from across the country. The festival provides visitors the opportunity to engage directly with artists during image presentations, workshops, lectures, panel discussions, and gallery chats. On Friday, Sept. 8, the opening night party will showcase over 1,000 unique pottery pieces. All money raised at the event supports Northern Clay Center’s mission of advancing ceramic arts through education, exhibitions, scholarships, and grant programs. At this “community-meets-artisan event,” the focus is bringing makers and their local communities together. AIA Minnesota Homes by Architects Tour
This year’s tour showcases 15 homes in a range of project types, budgets, and styles—11 in-person and four virtually. Fall Fest
Bachman’s on Lyndale is hosting a festive fall event this month with shopping, music, and food and beverage vendors on-site. Locally grown mums and other fall favorites will be available to browse in the greenhouse, while music, fall treats, and live chalk art by Allison Severson and Shawn McCann are presented outside.
