St. Paul Art Crawl

The St. Paul Art Crawl, produced by St. Paul Art Collective, returns this month. As the longest-running art crawl in the U.S., it is one of the city’s must-see art showcases. Celebrate local artists representing 10 artist districts and enjoy local food, live music, and dance in 21 various venues—including galleries, shared spaces, and artists’ lofts. Hennepin County Master Gardener Houseplant Sale

Shop over 1,200 houseplants including tropicals, succulents, orchids, and other rare plants at this year’s annual houseplant sale. Other activities include educational demonstrations by master gardeners on repotting and dividing, an “Ask a Master Gardener” table featuring Theresa Rooney of WCCO’s Smart Garden and Shayla Owodunni from Plant Penthouse, and more. Open Streets Minneapolis

What began in 2011 on 2 miles of Lyndale Avenue South has now become a cornerstone of Minneapolis. In a celebration of community, Open Streets Minneapolis turns the city streets into public spaces where local businesses, artists, and community groups can showcase the diversity and culture of the city. Each year, over 300 unique participants—neighborhood organizations, small businesses, local entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, campaigns, and nonprofits—fill the streets to share in this unique experience. Junkin’ Market Days

Featuring over 100 small businesses, Junkin’ Market Days is a one-stop shop for shopping clothes, jewelry, home decor, furniture, candles, gourmet foods, pet products, and other one-of-a-kind finds. With events all over the Midwest, the market’s mission is to connect local businesses with customers through craft market events. Shakopee Home Show

Meet and learn from local home professionals—from remodeling, landscaping, and decks to windows, bathrooms, and driveways.
