Uptown Art Fair

The 56th annual Uptown Art Fair takes place this weekend in the heart of the Twin Cities. This renowned art festival is known for its rich history and constant innovation, showcasing a variety of exceptional local artists with art everyone will love. The event originated as a fundraiser for Uptown art projects, but over time has adapted and changed Minneapolis’ art scene—all while continuing its original mission of community-focused philanthropy. Powderhorn Art Fair

With over 200 artists to shop from, the Powderhorn Art Fair has everything from shopping and food vendors to its new Wine Garden and activities for all ages. Minnesota Fringe Festival

The Minnesota Fringe Festival showcases nearly 700 artistic performances during the first 10 days of August. This weekend kicks off the huge festival, with shows across 12 distinct theaters in the Cedar-Riverside and Northeast Minneapolis neighborhoods. The festival is committed to accessibility, experimentation, and the creation of opportunities for artists and audiences of diverse backgrounds. This Burnsville DIY studio is hosting a paint pouring class at Appleberry’s Attic, another Twin Cities craft studio.
