The Top Five

Jerome Fiber Artist Project

Sometimes all it takes is a tiny spark to foster a flame and fuel a fire. That spark is a generous project grant awarded to three emerging, Minnesota-based, fiber artists by Textile Center. Janet Dixon, Heather MacKenzie, and Mary Pow (the 2018/2019 Jerome Project Grant winners) rose to the top of the pack and made a lasting impression out of more than 40 proposals. Come Tuesday, public presentations of their projects will be on display for the world to warm up to. Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. @ Textile Center, 3000 University Ave. SE, Minneapolis, textilecentermn.org
