Local Artist Robin Ann Meyer Launches Wallpaper Line with Hirshfield’s

Luminous seashells. Kaleidoscopic leaves. Indian-inspired paisleys. Architectural motifs. Birds and feathers. All are represented in the wallpaper line local artist and printmaker Robin Ann Meyer launched in partnership with Hirshfield’s Design Resource this week. The new line is vibrant, eco-friendly, and—thanks to digital technology—fully customizable in color way and scale.

Robin Ann Meyers

Meyer, a European-trained artist, worked as an apparel and home goods designer in New York before moving to the Twin Cities some three years ago. Here, she began translating the patterns and colors of Minnesota as well as inspiring images from her travels into luscious patterns and prints.

She launched her business with both scarves and wallcoverings in time for Art-a-Whirl in May 2017. Now, she says, “I would like to add in more lines, such as decorative pillows and table linens, as the company grows.”

Her peel-and-stick wallcoverings are available here; her wallpaper, made locally to order, is available through your designer from Hirshfield’s in Minneapolis.

See Meyer’s full line of wallpapers at Hirshfield’s Design Resource Showroom. And shop her scarves at the Casket Arts Building during Open Casket, Nov. 3 – 5, and Walker Jewelry & Accessory Makers Mart, Nov. 4.
