Mark Williams of Mark D. Williams Custom Homes Inc. wants the Twin Cities to dwell well in their homes. His podcast, “The Curious Builder,” has hosted over 30 Minnesota business owners since 2022, allowing his 8,500 listeners to learn from industry pros and trade partners.
At the event, ticket holders will receive an exclusive experience. Audience members can listen to an hour-long podcast between Williams and guest Jackson Schwartz. “Jackson’s story is pretty captivating,” Williams says. “On top of all of it, [Hennepin Made has] kind of been the ‘it’ kid over the last three, four months.”
Williams says Schwartz is the perfect person for the Live Podcast Event, citing Hennepin Made’s collaboration with Prospect Refuge and its growing popularity, as they were recently featured in Architectural Digest and at the American Swedish Insitute in Minneapolis. Beyond the live listening session, ticket holders can take a private tour of Hennepin Made’s Glass House and watch craftsmen blow glass; participate in a Q&A with Williams and Schwartz to learn tips and tricks of the trade; and network with Williams, Schwartz, and other guests in attendance.
Ticket sales are live now and seats are limited. According to Williams, about half of the 70 seats are still up for grabs. “There are obviously bigger events, but I think it’s the intimacy of it,” Williams adds. “It’s almost like a free coaching session.”
