Northeast Minneapolis, one of the trendiest areas of the city, has long been home to a thriving arts district, great bars and restaurants, and boutique home, vintage, and fashion retailers. Warners’ Stellian, the family-owned appliance specialist, is the latest business to choose Northeast for expansion.
The new location at 2605 Broadway St. NE opened June 18 and brings everything from smart laundry to professional-style kitchen appliances within easy access for city dwellers.
“The response from the neighborhood so far has been amazing,” says store manager Joe Warner. Customers can peruse luxe brands like Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador and Liebherr, along with Frigidaire, Whirlpool, GE, and more. “We have talked to many locals already who are planning remodels and pleased to have a local resource,” he says.
The new building provides space for a 70,000-square-foot warehouse and a 10,000-square-foot showroom. Due to growth, Warners’ Stellian needed a second warehouse to supplement the one at its headquarters in St. Paul.
“We identified the northeast corridor of Minneapolis as an area of opportunity,” says president Robert Warner. “Being close to a major artery in a dense area with robust home improvement is very exciting. From a fulfillment standpoint, it’s an attractive location. We are thrilled to have a retail store in the urban core of Minneapolis.”
Warners’ Stellian features in-house customer service, free local delivery, and professional installation. The store is currently offering its lowest prices of the season through July 11.
