Looking for ways to revamp your home this summer? Whether you are remodeling your whole home or simply searching for ideas to spruce up lighting and decor, house fans can find inspiration at Midwest Home‘s 5th annual Luxury Remodeling Tour.
Tour nine high-end homes, including a stunning Frank Lloyd Wright remodel, around the Twin Cities on June 2-3 and 9-10. With the average remodel budget over $580,000, the Luxury Remodeling Tour showcases the highest quality and craftsmanship by top custom remodelers in Minnesota. This self-guided tour offers the perfect opportunity to see gourmet kitchens, elaborate additions, and the latest home styles and designs.
Weekend one features a 1950s Usonian Frank Lloyd Wright home in Stillwater by Braden Construction and SALA Architects. Newly updated kitchen and baths, as well as an enlarged terrace and landscaping, have returned this iconic home to its former glory and preserved it for the next 75 years. Also on the tour the first weekend, a newly refreshed Art Deco home on Cedar Lake by Revolution Design Build, a Southwest Minneapolis abode with modern updates and an airy two-story living room by Bella Custom Homes, and a luxury kitchen in Edina by Maison Kitchen + Bath.
On weekend two, don’t miss Erotas Custom Building and Shelter Architecture’s remodel of an Edina family home turned dream entertaining space. An expanded kitchen with wood-fired pizza oven, massive island, and cocktail bar has become a party hub, while the home theater and three-season porch add even more room for socializing. Spend the rest of the weekend touring an Edina colonial home with new family-sized kitchen with beautiful butler’s pantry by Bluestem Construction, a two-story modified Tudor in Edina with spacious kitchen with high-end finishes by AMEK Inc., a 1900s Excelsior home with vintage accents by Jones Design Build, and a fully renovated home on Lake Minnetonka by Xpand Inc. with new custom bathroom, wine room, and kitchen with walk-in pantry.
