For some people, home is more than a place to rest your head. Two homeowners on the 2018 Homes by Architects tour have designed homes that allow for maximum entertainment and a fully-developed spirit of adventure.

An “adventure garage” is a central feature of Home 1 in Waconia, allowing the travel-loving homeowners to pack and unpack an RV in climate-controlled conditions. The home is designed to maximize comfort, creativity, and fun, featuring spaces for art, sports, and even a dog suite. The features are designed to bring the best of resort living home to roost.

Home 9 is a tricked-out guest house in Woodland that features a garage designed for high-performance cars, a relaxed upstairs for easy living, and an enclosed, modern lounge for entertaining that puts living the best life at your fingertips.

Tickets to the 11th annual Homes by Architects Tour are on sale now. Learn more at homesbyarchitects.org.
