Imagine a new farmhouse sink in your kitchen. Now imagine you can change the color and material of the apron front on a whim. That’s the beauty of the new Elkay stainless-steel farmhouse sink with interchangeable apron front. The apron is available in a mix of materials and colors, and is easy to remove and switch out.
It changes out in minutes without removing or reinstalling the sink—perfect for DIYers. You can select a finish to fit your decor or even the season, including rose gold, gold, deep blue, fire-clay in white, and quartz in charcoal gray. The sink itself is made of 16-gauge stainless steel. It’s designed with tight corners, straight sidewalls and a flat bottom for a modern look and more usable space. On select models, a low center divider allows pan handles to extend over the center and makes it easy to wash large items—like baking sheets—over both bowls.
Additional features include:
• Sound-deadening material to minimize sound and vibration
• Offset drain to provide more usable space on the bottom of the sink and in the cabinet below.
• Extra-deep, high-capacity bowls that offer more room inside for stacking dishes, filling stockpots, and handling large baking sheets and roasters.
• Creased accent lines in the sink bottom to deliver superior drainage and give the sink a professional appearance.
Elkay introduced the industry first interchangeable apron-front sink at the 2018 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Orlando. It will be available May/June 2018.
