Sharon Clasen, Associate ASID, owner and founder of Insite Interiors and The Sale Room @ IMS, brings home a fresh perspective each time she travels throughout the world.
“Clients hire me because I build trusting relationships and I make their experience enjoyable,” she says. “Creating and executing the vision for your home should be fun, not stressful.”
Her job, she says, is to take care of the details; her client’s job is to love their new environment.
Loving their new space is an easy task for Sharon’s clients, who work closely with her throughout the process. Her clients appreciate the individualized attention, as well as the fact that Sharon personally selects items from all over the world.
“My travel photos are filled with design inspiration, whether it’s an iron fence design in Buenos Aires, an antique chair upholstered in a vintage Hermes scarf in Napa Valley or the 400-year old farmhouse we visited in the English countryside.”
“A designer is like an editor and a concierge,” she explains. “I take my client’s ideas and edit them into a focused plan. Then like a concierge, provide personal service and access to exclusive items not available to everyone.”
Sharon also founded The Sale Room @ IMS, offering designer furnishings at 50-80 percent off retail. “We can special order from our Studio Lines, and with new merchandise arriving every week, there’s always something new.”
