Puustelli Showroom Open House: Leading Scandinavian kitchen design brand Puustelli has opened its first U.S. showroom in Minneapolis. The showroom will feature five complete kitchen vignettes, including two large demonstration kitchens, a floor-to- ceiling fireplace along with a mudroom/laundry room/home office, and bathroom vignettes. Throughout opening week, the showroom will be hosting daily events, including an open house on Wednesday, August 2 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will feature cooking demonstrations and a discussion about Scandinavian cuisine. Uptown Art Fair: Billed as the largest art fair in the state, this annual fest attracts more than 350,000 people every year to the intersection of Hennepin Avenue South and West Lake Street. Historic Minneapolis Walking Tours: Explore the history behind Minneapolis architecture during two tours held this weekend. On Saturday, explore the history of and the contrast between the old buildings along Nicollet Avenue and Bridge Square, and the tour ends at Mill City Museum.
