Laundry Camp at Mona Williams:

Learn how to do laundry from the best at Laundry Camp, which returns for a new season. Hosted by Mona Williams store owner and “the Laundry Evangelist,” Patric Richardson, the workshop shows you how to optimize your laundry routine and wash the “unwashable,” helping you to clean your clothing and textiles at home and skip a trip to the dry cleaner. Attendees can also shop the full range of fabric cleaning products available for sale at Mona Williams, including Richardson’s own formulation of laundry soaps. Junk Bonanza Vintage Market:

This annual, indoor sale features antiques, vintage clothing and furniture, jewelry, and decor made from salvaged items from more than 160 vendors. Seattle-based interiors and photo stylist Janna Lufkin, a longtime contributor to Better Homes & Gardens and Country Living magazines, will share tips and secrets on how to shop like a pro, and Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint founder Marian Parsons will search out a special piece of furniture at the Bonanza and paint it in real time. American Craft Show: St. Paul:

The American Craft Show has been a showcase for the best in American craft in St. Paul since 1987. This year’s show features more than 200 top contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture, and home décor artisans and designers from across the country, including local favorites Hat MakeFringe & Fettle Ceramics, and Julie Meyer Handbags. Highlights include “Style Slam,” which features wardrobe tips from fashion stylists, and “Make Room: Modern Design Meets Craft,” which challenges four local interior designers to create a themed room. Preview party: Thursday from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., plus Friday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. @ St. Paul RiverCentre, 175 W. Interpreting Art in Bloom Floral Design Workshop:

Learn how to create your own floral masterpiece at this workshop hosted by Bachman’s in collaboration with the Minneapolis Institute of Art’s annual Art in Bloom. Participants will create their own interpretation of Eugène Delacroix’s painting, Still Life with Dahlias, Zinnias, Hollyhocks and Plums, with dahlias and disbud chrysanthemums in coral, blush, and burgundy hues, glossy greenery, and hypericum berries. A ticket includes all materials used, including a blue and white chinoiserie vase to display your creation. “Art & Minds” with Samuel Johnson:

As part of Veronique Wantz Gallery’s new “Arts & Minds” series, Minnesota-based ceramic artist Samuel Johnson speaks about his process, inspirations, and creative vision with interior designer Brooke Voss. She will also discuss how Johnson’s vessels can be utilized and displayed in the home, and floral designer Heidi Lemon will bring new life to Johnson’s pieces with her floral artistry.
