Robin Ann Meyer and Hirshfield’s Design Resource Team Up for Wallpaper Line

Luminous seashells. Leaves in kaleidoscope colors. Indian-inspired paisleys. Birds and feathers. All are represented in the wallpaper line local artist and printmaker Robin Ann Meyer launched in partnership with Hirshfield’s Design Resource last fall. The new line is vibrant, eco-friendly, and—thanks to digital technology—fully customizable in colorway and scale.

Meyer, a European-trained artist, worked as an apparel and home goods designer in New York before moving to the Twin Cities several years ago. Here, she began translating the patterns and colors of the Minnesota landscape as well as images from her travels into luscious patterns and prints. She most often uses motifs informed by nature and architecture.

Meyer launched her business with both scarves and wallcoverings in time for Art-a-Whirl in May 2017. Now, she says, “I would like to add in more lines, such as decorative pillows and table linens, as the company grows.”

Meyers’ peel-and-stick wallcoverings are available online at robinannmeyer.com; her full line of wallpapers, made locally to order, is available through your designer at Hirshfield’s Design Resource Showroom in Minneapolis.
