For those who find inspiration by pinning beauty, home decor, fashion, cooking and lifestyle ideas or simply live vicariously on Pinterest, imagine a place where all of those pins come to life. At Pinners Minnesota, an expected 8,000 other fanatics come together for a convention centered around all things Pinterest.
Although the conference has been held for the past five years in cities across the country such as Atlanta, San Diego, and Dallas, this will be the first time it has been held in Minnesota. A grand total of 100 creative workshops will be available to participate in, as well as 250+ exhibitors to browse, all housed in the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Exhibitors and workshops range from home decor, crafts, DIY, beauty & fashion, quilting and sewing, food arts, health and fitness, photography and lifestyle. Some of the exhibitors include local artists such as Jennifer Dahl Designs LLC, the Pink Hammer Shop, Socially Handcrafted, and Gathered Goods Company, as well as nationwide booths featuring Scentsy, Norwex, Thirty One Gifts, and Origami Owl.
Out of the 100 workshops to choose from, a large portion of them will focus around DIY home decor and tips for design and housekeeping tips. From the “Let’s Play House” category, some workshops include:
- Secrets to Chalk Painting the Professional (& Affordable) Way
- Capsule Decor: Styling Your Home for the Seasons
- Interior Design 101
“DIY to Make You Sigh” workshops teach pinners to create some popular crafts on their own, working hands on. Examples include:
- Hello Sign
- MN Light Up Sign
- Macrame Plant Hanger
- Farmhouse Shiplap “Gather Here” Sign
- Boho Triangle Shelf
- Brick Farmhouse Sign with Gather Cutout
