Chef Camp at Wilson & Willy’s: Japanese Knives Workshop: In anticipation of Chef Camp‘s summer retreat at Lake Superior in September, Minneapolis retailer shop Wilson & Willy’s is hosting a three-part series of workshops to bring the Northwoods experience to the North Loop. The series concludes with a class on Japanese knives led by Chef Camp instructor Nick Zdon, who will talk about Japanese knife design, the traditional aesthetics of Japanese blades, their history, and how to sharpen and care for them.
