Swanson Homes’ 2017 Artisan Home is featured in this weekend’s Swanson Homes chef event

Globe Trotter Estate Sale: Interior designer and Omforme owner Carter Averbeck hosts a unique estate sale that features a rare, globally sourced collection of designer clothing and accessories, antiques, and modern furnishings. Shop gently worn clothing and accessories by brands including Gucci, Versace, Ann Demeulemeester, Givenchy, Manolo Blahnik, Comme des Garçons, and more, plus more than 100 pairs of designer shoes and sunglasses and hand-embroidered silk saris. Furniture includes antiques ranging from the 18th century to today, with highlights including an 18th century French wardrobe and a 19th century Demi-Lune table. Peddler: A Night Market on the Mississippi: Minneapolis Craft Market and Frank & Ernest Markets are partnering with the historic St. Paul event space, City House, for a weekly night market every Thursday in June. La Petite Parfumerie Reopens in Wayzata: Since months since closing its store at Southdale, luxury fragrance boutique La Petite Parfumerie has announced its return. The locally owned retailer, known for its high-end collection of perfume and candles from elite labels, will open in the space previously occupied by Paper + Cloth boutique in Wayzata. A Culture of Pots Exhibition Reception: In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour, the Weisman Art Museum hosts an opening reception for its new pottery exhibit, A Culture of Pots: The 25th Anniversary of the St. Croix Valley Pottery Tour. The exhibition features art by a dozen potters along with works by guest potters who have contributed to the event over the past 25 years. Friday, June 23 from 6-8 p.m. @ Weisman Art Museum, 333 E. Maker Days at Linden Hills Farmers’ Market: Shop for handmade goods from nearly 20 makers while stocking up on heirloom vegetables at this special maker’s edition of the Linden Hills Farmer’s Market. American Rose Society Rose Show 2017: Shakespeare’s England: Twin Cities rose growers will display their best blooms during this annual show hosted by the Twin Cities Rose Club. This year’s show takes a Shakespearean, British theme, with Old Garden roses, floribunda, grandiflora, hybrid teas, shrub roses, and more. Mill City Farmer’s Market: Mill City’s weekly farmer’s market has moved outdoors for the season. Shop for goods from more than 120 farmers, florist, food artisans, restaurants, and makers. Bean + Ro and Callahan Framing Company Grand Opening: Custom custom gift and stationery boutique Bean + Ro has moved from its longtime home on Excelsior Boulevard to 45th and France in Edina. The new space will featured an expanded selection of apparel, home, and gift items, as well as goods from its stationery shop, The Paper Soirée, and Bean + Ro’s custom framing services will now be handled by Callahan Framing Company, whose second location will share an entrance with the store.
