West Elm, a worldwide home furnishings retailer, will bring its modern and sustainable furniture and home goods to Minneapolis’ North Loop district late February. Its second Minnesota location will be an 11,000-square-foot store on the ground level of SECOND & SECOND—a new apartment complex with on-site shopping. The building features a 40,000-square-foot ground-level retail space, making shopping for residents, locals, and visitors more convenient than ever.

West Elm is all about expressing personal style through modern design, affordability, and community—three pillars that intersect perfectly in the North Loop. The neighborhood’s trending aesthetic, walkability, historically preserved buildings, and vibrant nearby businesses make it an ideal home for West Elm to focus on its well-loved products, sustainability, and support of local artists and makers. Thanks to the company’s LOCAL program, the downtown location will carry a variety of locally made goods by Minnesota artisans (from small accessories to large works of art), plus its new and original collections of goods and décor.

To support and celebrate West Elm’s latest location, attend the public grand opening tentatively scheduled for Thursday, February 27. West Elm Minneapolis, 128 N. Second St., Minneapolis, 952-835-8332, westelm.com
